Sucre didn't grab us at first, but after a few days we were drawn in by its charm, so leaving earlier this week was a little sad. It was the right decision, though, as the weather was a little too cold and dry for us. On our last day, however, it was almost Mediterranean, and the views over the city from the mirador in the Recoleta neighbourhood were just lovely.
We sat up in Café Mirador with a new friend, chatting and trying to catch pine leaves falling from the tree that was shading us from the sun before they fell in our food, this beautifully presented salad.
