Zab is now mayor of Covita, a cute vegetarian/vegan restaurant here in San Carlos de Bariloche. What does that mean? Well…thanks to our new friend Dani, Zab is now addicted to ‘checking in' to places on FourSquare, a social networking app that lets you tell people the places (restaurants, cafes, sights, parks…) you have been, leave tips for them and rate what you ate/saw/did. If you are the person who has checked in to any specific place the most times in 60 days, you become the mayor.

Today Zab became mayor of Covita, as it was our third trip there since arriving in Bariloche. Each time, we don't bother to look at the menu; we just sit down and order whatever the set lunch deal is, which includes a plate like this and a drink for AR$50 (£6.50). Last time it was a vegetable curry, perfectly seasoned (though not spicy), a tower of whole brown rice, and a beautifully presented salad. We'll definitely be back there for again before we leave, and I'll be writing more about it soon.
