In the last few weeks, we haven't been eating out much here in Buenos Aires.

Instead, we've been making the most of having a kitchen and cooking a lot. We did, however, treat ourselves to lunch out a couple of days ago at one of our favourite vegetarian places in Buenos Aires, La Esquina de las Flores, where we had our very first meal in Argentina way back in January when we first arrived.

This time, we had the “macrobiotic plate”, which consisted of a nice mixture of whole foods: brown rice, roast pumpkin, kidney beans, salad, steamed carrot and courgette, fried tofu and a small cheese and spinach pie. Lovely!
