Since we spent most of this week on a tour through Bolivia‘s Southwest circuit, we didn't expect to be eating many food porn-worthy meals. The food we were given on the tour (all cooked up freshly by our cook named Elvis) was surprisingly good but most of the time not particularly interesting looking. This meal, however, was accompanied by a spectacular view of Volcán Ollagüe, a semi active volcano in the far southwestern corner of Bolivia, and which actually forms the boarder with Chile.
In case the food is really what you're reading this post for, then no, that brown thing is not a baked apple, but a potato, and the fried thing isn't fish but aubergine. All very tasty, and it went down even better considering the scenery!
