Yesterday, we went to our first Indian restaurant in South America in La Paz, Bolivia. I had high hopes, as I've been missing Indian food since we left Europe. Unfortunately, however, the place was just average, and the food wasn't particularly beautiful or interesting looking.
So instead, I bring you food porn from earlier in the week, during our time in Santa Cruz. We went several times to this little place, which served up generously piled plates of vegetarian goodies, lovely juices and wholesome soups for very good prices. The staff were always rushing around, as it was obviously a popular place to fill up at lunch, but were always friendly and only slightly surprised by our presence as the only two gringos in the place!
