9th – 15th December
On Monday I did my first day of English teaching for over a year at a secondary school in small-town Austria while Zab also went to work consulting in Cambridge. Tuesday was not much different.

Wednesday and Thursday was more teaching for me followed by walks in the cold, empty and foggy Austrian countryside, while Zab attended a work conference in London.
While I finished up my teaching week on Friday and went out to the town’s only bar with my colleagues, Zab was working at home in London.

On Saturday, I took the train from eastern Styria to Linz in Upper Austria to visit my friend Uli. Sunday was a work day for both of us, with Zab helping his mother sell jewellery in London and for me in Linz on the blog, though I also managed to get out and enjoy the sunshine by the Danube for a bit.
